VRC-30 "Providers" Adoption

VRC-30 Sailors keep the squadron's 13 C2A Greyhounds in pristine condition. Winning the
Battle E for Excellence for 2006 is a testament to the hard work and dedication to duty that
runs through the hangar.
Returning from a day supporting Pacific Fleet Aircraft Carriers off the California Coast, A/C 26
on the taxi to its parking spot. VRC-30 epitomizes the word TEAMWORK. With detachments
assigned to each carrier, VRC-30 is the principal resupply squadron while at sea.
The C2A Greyhound, capable of holding 26 passengers, can be configured in an all
passenger, all cargo or a Combi configuration. Passengers ride facing aft in a
windowless cabin. The C2A has no ejection seats for either passenger or crew.
